To register for the Service, you need to have a sole HKD savings or current account and applied for Internet Banking Services, and have registered in the Bank’s records a Hong Kong mobile phone number. Please download “OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay” from official App Store or Google Play.

1. Open the app for registration, read and accept the Terms and Condition

2. Enter your Internet Banking User ID and PIN, and accept the push notification permission

  

3. Enter SMS One-time Password, and select the account for transaction

  

4. Set up your own nickname and Mobile PIN

  

5. Start using OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service

1. Log on to "OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay" app and Tab "Send Money"

2. Tab "+" to add receivers from your phone book

  

3. Select the receiver and input amount

  

4. Confirm the transaction details and enter Mobile PIN

  

*If the masked receiver name is shown on the confirmation screen, money will be directly deposited in the bank account of the receiver, otherwise the receiver needs to confirm for money collection.

5. Receive push notification for the completed transaction. Your selected bank account will be debited.

2. Log on to "OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay" app and tap "Collect/P2P History"

3. Select the transaction with status "Ready for collection"

4. Tap "Collect" and enter Mobile PIN

  

5. Receive push notification for the completed transaction. Your selected bank account will be credited.

Sending Money Request to 1 friend or a group of friends

  1. Tap "Send Money Request" under "Request Money" on the Home screen.
  2. Select a friend or a group of friends from the Friend List to request money from. 
    Only friends with registered banks that support P2P Money Request will be available for selection.
  3. Input subject and amount, and tap “Confirm”.
  4. You can either input the specific amount or input the total amount to be split among your friends

Money Request Sent! Your friend will receive a push notification / SMS for the request. You can also send a reminder to your friend!

Paying Money Request

You will be notified when your friend has sent a request. All the money requests received are shown under “Money Out”, after tapping “Request Money” on the Home Screen. Simply tap on the pending request to pay the request!

  1. Log on to the app and tap “Money Out” under “Request Money” on the Home screen.
  2. Select the request(s) under Pending.
  3. After the request details display, check the details and tap Send Money. Make sure you know the requester when paying the request.
  4. Verify with your Mobile PIN and Money Request is completed! 
    Your friend will then receive a push notification for the money deposited!

About OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay

1. How does OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay work?
Once you have downloaded the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app and registered within the app, you can link your HKD savings or current account with your local mobile number registered with the bank. Add your phone contacts to the Pay List to start sending money. The receiver will be notified through SMS or push notification with instructions on how to collect and deposit the money in an OCBC Wing Hang or another local bank account. Joint accounts and corporate accounts are not supported by OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay.

2. Who can use OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
Account holders of OCBC Wing Hang HKD savings or current accounts, who have applied for Internet Banking Services and have registered a local mobile number with the bank, can use OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay.

3. How much does it cost to send or collect money?
There is no charge to send or collect money. However, please note that your use of the service may incur charges when you use SMS, data and/or make telephone calls. You must settle those charges with your mobile service provider.

4. What kind of mobile devices could be used for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay works with mobile devices running on the following operating system:
Apple iPhone with iOS version 9.0 or above
Android mobile devices with Android version 5.0 or above

5. Can joint account holders register for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
No. Only sole name accounts are eligible for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service.

6. Can corporate account holders register for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
No. Corporate accounts are not eligible for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service.

7. Why do I see contact name as "Unknown" in my Pay List?
As you have updated your phone contacts but not your "Pay List", therefore, please remember to keep your "Pay List" up to date with latest contacts.

Registration

1. Who is eligible to register with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
To register with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay, you need to have:

  • An OCBC Wing Hang HKD savings or current account
  • Registered for Internet Banking Services
  • A local mobile number registered in the bank's records.

Joint accounts and corporate accounts are not supported by OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay.

2. What if the mobile number shown on the screen during registration is not mine?
The mobile number shown during registration is the number in OCBC Wing Hang's records. If you need to update your mobile phone number, please come to any of our branches.

3. I have registered with the JETCO Pay service at another bank. Can I also register with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
Yes. You can register with the service via the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app and start sending money after registration. However, since only one app is allowed for the collection of money, in order to collect money via OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay, you will need to log on to the other bank's app and set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to off. Then log on to the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay, and on the "Home screen", set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to on.

4. If I have registered an OCBC Wing Hang account with the JETCO Pay P2P Collect App, can I also register with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
Yes. Please collect all the money via JETCO Pay P2P Collect App first before you registered with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay. Once you have registered with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay, the "Receiving Account" will be turned on automatically, and all the money which have not been collected will return to the sender's account after expiry.

5. Why must I enable the push notification to use OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
Notification messages will be sent to you through the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app from time to time to alert you to any security or precautionary measures deemed necessary by JETCO. Such messages, if successfully sent, will be deemed to have reached you simultaneously. Please allow OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay to send you notifications (including notifications to collect money) so that you don't miss a thing.

6. What if I need to update my mobile phone number with the bank after registering with the service?
You will need to terminate the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service first, and register again.

7. Why do I need to verify my mobile phone number?
To safeguard your interest, verification of your mobile phone number is required. Entering the correct one-time password sent via SMS to the mobile phone number registered in our record could verify your identity.

Send Money

1. What is the daily transfer limit via OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
The default daily transfer limit is HK$5,000. This is a standalone transfer limit which is not subject to the maximum daily transfer limit shared by other channels. Please log on Internet Banking to adjust the daily transfer limit to a lower amount if you need.

2. Can I send money to a receiver whose mobile phone number is not a local mobile phone number?
No. You cannot add any overseas mobile phone numbers in the Pay List.

3. Can I send money to a receiver who has not registered with any JETCO Pay service?
Yes. You can send money to almost everyone with a local bank account and a local mobile phone number. The receiver will receive a SMS or push notification to collect money.

4. How many receivers can I add to my Pay List?
The Pay List can store a maximum of 99 contacts.

5. What is the Sender Code and how do I use it?
The Sender Code is an additional password for enhanced security and it can be set when sending money. You need to inform the receiver of the sender code separately. The receiver has to input the same code in order to collect the money.

6. How will I know if the money I send has been collected?
When your receiver collects the money from you, you'll be notified by push notification and the transaction status will change to "Deposited in Account" or "Check Account after [date]" in "Collect /P2P History".

7. Can I cancel a Send Money instruction?
Yes. You can cancel your instruction in the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app as long as the receiver has not confirmed collection. Once the receiver has collected the money, your Send Money instruction is irrevocable. Please double check all the input information before confirming your Send Money instruction.

8. How can I tell which of my friends can collect my money in real time?
If the masked receiver name is shown on the confirmation screen, money will be directly deposited in the bank account of the receiver. Otherwise the receiver needs to confirm for money collection, and the money will be deposited in 0-3 working days after collection, depending on the bank through which the receiver is linked to the JETCO Pay service.

9. What happens if my Send Money instruction expires?
Money will be returned to your bank account if the receiver does not collect within 7 calendar days

10. Is there a minimum amount I can send?
Currently the minimum sending amount is HK$1.

Collect Money

1. I have downloaded and registered with the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay, but I'm unable to collect any money?
Since only one app is allowed for the collection of money, you are either registered with another bank's account to collect money or have not turned on the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay receiving account. In order to collect money via OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay, you will need to log on to the other bank's app and set the toggle button of "Receiving Account" to off and turn on the Receiving Account in the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app.

2. How would I know if someone sends money to me?
If you have not registered for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service, you will receive an SMS notification with instructions to collect money when there is any pending transaction.
If you have registered for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service and installed OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app, you will receive a push notification if there is any pending transaction or money deposited into your bank account. Moreover, you may click “Collect / P2P History” anytime to check if there is any pending transaction.

3. What is a Sender Code?
The Sender Code is an additional password for enhanced security which is set by the sender. You need to enter the same code in order to collect the money. Please request the Sender Code from the sender.

4. How long does it take for the money to be deposited in my bank account after collection?
Money will be deposited in real time after collection and the transaction status will change to "Deposited ".

5. What happens if I do not collect the money after receiving the notification?
You have 7 calendar days to collect the money. After that, the transaction status will be changed to "Expired" and the money will be returned to the sender.

Others

1. What should I do if I forget my Mobile PIN?
Please contact OCBC Wing Hang customer service hotline 3199 9188 to reset your Mobile PIN for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay. You will be notified by the push notification with instructions on how to reset your Mobile PIN.

2. What should I do if I lost my mobile device with OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
If you lose your mobile device, please contact our customer service hotline at 3199 9188 to report lost. Re-registration is required to continue enjoying the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service with your new mobile device.

3. What should I do if I change my mobile device?
You can install the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay with your new mobile device and select "I have registered OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay before" during the registration. Before you sell, donate or recycle the mobile device, please remember to wipe data and delete the app on your old mobile device.

4. Can I register and use the same OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay account with two different mobile devices?
No. If you download and register OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay on another mobile device, you will not be able to collect or send money through the OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay app on your originally registered mobile device.

5. Can I change my bank account for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay?
Yes, you can change bank account for OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay which you are currently using under “My Account” in the Side Menu. You will need to input your Internet Banking User ID and PIN for the change.

6. How can I terminate OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service?
Before you terminate OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay service, please note that:

  • All transactions in process will be cancelled and refunded to your bank account or sender's bank account.
  • All transaction records will be erased.

You can either select “Terminate OCBC Wing Hang JETCO Pay” under “Profile Settings” in the Side Menu, or contact our Customer Service Hotline at 3199 9188 to terminate the service if you cannot log on the mobile app.
